AI is changing phishing in a big way, making it an ongoing, automatic process instead of a manual one. Attacks are now "highly contextual," which means they can happen without any human interaction from reconnaissance to delivery. Eyal Benishti, CEO of IRONSCALES, says, "It's all about the intent... can we make someone do something they're not supposed to do?"
He says that businesses need to use the same technologies that attackers do and switch from reactive defense to continuous threat anticipation in order to protect themselves from this new wave.
