With 700,000 American workers in need of reskilling and $5.5 trillion in global AI risk exposure, the Certified CISO v4 and four new AI certifications help bridge the gap between workforce readiness and AI adoption. The Enterprise AI Credential Suite was introduced today by EC-Council, a global leader in applied cybersecurity education and the creator of the well-known Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) credential. Accompanying the redesigned executive cyber leadership program, Certified CISO v4, are four new role-based AI certifications.
In its 25-year history, the dual launch represents the biggest single addition to EC-Council's portfolio. It fills a structural gap that cannot be filled by a single tool, platform, or policy: AI is growing more quickly than the workforce that is qualified to manage, secure, and control it.
The Certified CISO v4 enhances executive cyber leadership training for AI-driven risk environments in addition to the new AI certifications, enhancing leadership preparedness as intelligent systems are incorporated into security decision-making and core business operations. "Systems that learn, adapt, and impact results quickly are now the responsibility of security leaders," Bavisi continued. "A certified CISO v4 equips leaders to make wise decisions when accountability is at stake, enhance governance, and manage AI-driven risk with clarity."
As AI security and workforce readiness gain more national significance, the portfolio also expands on EC-Council's longstanding collaboration with government and defense agencies, including its current DoD 8140 baseline certification recognition.
