StrongDM's just-in-time (JIT) proxy-based access platform will help Delinea's identity security go beyond traditional vault-based PAM. Delinea's Secret Server is currently set up as a vault that keeps track of permissions and lets users check out static credentials. StrongDM adds temporary, real-time credentials through a developer-focused workflow.
This lets Delinea control privileged actions in different environments without getting in the way of engineers' work. TPG Capital helped start the company after Centrify and Thycotic, two PAM providers, merged in 2021.
